Sixtus-Ferdinand Kraus completed his habilitation in corporate and company law and civil law at the University of Vienna in 2018. He was a university professor at the Institute for Civil Law at the Johannes Kepler University Linz from October 2020 to September 2024.
Before joining Völkl Rechtsanwälte, Sixtus-Ferdinand Kraus worked for a renowned international law firm in the field of corporate and corporate litigation and for a well-known boutique law firm with a focus on private clients in Vienna, in addition to his academic work. He has been a lawyer since 2019.
As one of three experts, Sixtus-Ferdinand Kraus played a leading role in advising the Federal Ministry for Digital and Economic Affairs on the introduction of a modern, founder- and investor-friendly form of company in Austria. He is the author of numerous publications, in particular on corporate, company and capital market law and business-related civil law. He regularly gives lectures in these specialist areas.
